For this challenge I used one of my new stamps it is sheet 30 plate 101 by Ching Chou Kuik but I just call it Valentine. I had lots of fun with this one she is so pretty!!! I colored her with my watercolor pencils and then glittered her, of course lol ;). Her hair has two different shades of copper glitters, one is transparent. I decided to make her outfit and tail two shades of purple and I chose pearl glitters for this. I then went to the large task of gluing all the little hearts and other beads into her hair by hand, but I must say they turned out well and Stuff by David's hearts were perfect for this. I used some wired star garland on the moon and I added paper roses and some butterflies from K& Co. that I popped up. Two of the paper doilies I colored with my glimmer sprays. The background is black glitter paper that I added some little stars to along with a red rhinestone heart in each corner. I added the 'BE MINE" sentiment and on the other side I added a heart charm that I popped up and it has"the wedding of" on it. Hope you like my creation and thanks for taking the time to look.:)

Having Fun Making Plexiglass Glitter Key Chains
Hi again. I was busy this week playing with some of the plexiglass that I had stamped. Kyla wanted her new key chain so that started things off. I ended up making 6 or 7. I have decided to work on them on the same side that they are stamped on now because even though they are stamped with Staz-On ink it does tend to wear off after awhile. They are fairly easy to make. You stamp them with Staz-On ink then I go over the eyes and lips and other parts that I want to stand out more with a Sharpie extra fine point permanent marker. I then use Art Institute dries clear glue with a very fine point added to it to put the glue on the part I am going to glitter first --- I usually glitter darkest to lightest. I usually start with the hair. After you have glittered everything once you usually need to do it again so it shows up better. Then I take my Perm Enamel paint and mix up a skin color and paint the face and body twice. To finish you put paper you like behind them and then glue in place and put another piece of plexiglass behind it and glue that in place. I use metallic tape around the outside and drill a hole for it to be a key chain or decoration. I will post the pictures of the ones I did below Kyla has a two-sided one since she is spoiled of course lol ;) Please note that the glue is not dried all the way yet it does take quite a while for it to dry and I wanted to share these before I start on a new batch. Some of these will make their way into the store if they don't get kidnapped first lol :) Thanks for looking :)

Happiness Is ... A Dreamy Sand Castle -- In A Sweet Pea Dream -- Under The Sea -- Challenge # 9
Hi! Today I used another fabulous image from Sweet Pea Stamps if you haven't checked out their stamps you really need to they have something for everyone. This image is Elaine Cox's Dreamy Sand Castle and I must say I am really happy with how she turned out. :) I colored her with watercolor pencils then her mermaid tail was glittered in three different purple pearl shades of glitter. Next I glittered her hair in a charcoal black and a mixed black color called Atlantis. Her lips were done in a red pearl glitter. Then I used flower soft in the ultra fine in sand and koala gray to accent the sand. I also added a few real shells here -- you can get these at Stuff by David along with lots of other great items. For the outer part I used paper I made with my glimmer sprays and then put down a strip of big black mesh. Around the mesh I put pieces of gold, purple and turquoise tulle then I added glimmer rox in gold and black and some beadies in aqua and silver along with more real shells. I took a close up pic so you should be able to see the details. :) To finish it I added the black rhinestones and the metal "happiness is ..." accent and the gold shell. Thanks for looking :)

Little Seahorses Mermaid -- In A Sweet Pea Dream -- Under The Sea -- Challenge # 9
Hi again!! It was a rainy day here in Florida today perfect for crafting and finishing my creation. :) For this challenge I chose an Elaine Cox image which is a different artist then I usually choose but I must say I loved coloring them. (I bought 3 of hers and colored all 3 right away :) This image is Little Seahorses Mermaid and it was such fun to do. I colored her with watercolor pencils, then I glittered the mermaid tail and top in a light coral pink pearl glitter. The top of the tail was done a very light pink glitter. Her hair was done in 2 colors of Art Institute yellows. The little seahorses were done in an orange and a yellow glitter from the Art Institute. I added little pearls and rhinestones to her hair and purple rhinestone flowers. I cut her out and mounted her on the seashell die cut and then I added some greens to look like seaweed -- they are actually plastic from the flowered candle rings. I usually find them in the thrift stores or yard sales and take them apart since they work great for undersea stuff. I then glued little shells and these cool Rox by Judith on in different colors. I used this great paper I have been hoarding from Creative Beginnings and added the adhesive paper ribbon in sand dollars to the corners and the bottom. To finish it I added the "special" definition and the real starfish. Thanks for looking :)

Sharing My Crafting Spot :)
Hi again!! I decided it was time for everyone to see where all this creativity happens at lol ;) Keep in mind my room is not nearly big enough (I'm sure everyone feels this way lol) so I try to keep everything organized so I can find it fairly easy, with the stuff I use the most closest to me. Of course my husband says I could open my own store but I don't think I'm there yet lol. (He leaves me alone when I tell him I am going out to his shed -- not organized and tons of tools lol) Thanks for looking :)

This is the ribbon rack Bob made me right above the doorway -- This one holds all the larger Christmas ribbon (I think I need another one lol :)
This is the shelf Bob made for my rocking horse collection, it also has a full ribbon rack -- holds my satin ribbon. You also see the top of the bookcase he converted for me along with all my little treasures hanging and sitting on the shelf.
This is the rest of the bookcase that he converted it has 2 full ribbon racks and more of my treasures in jars and some of the work I have done.
This is the bottom of the bookcase holds my CD player and cd's (I know I'm old school lol) also Christmas stuff is in the one divided container. The big red basket holds my 12 x 12 paper.
This is the corner shelf on the other wall it holds my jars of buttons, sequins, backgammon and other game pieces and my bling -- I like having it in jars and out I think it looks pretty :)
This is more lace and ribbon plus cardstock and cards that are on top of the 3 drawer sections that I have against this wall. The drawers hold more cardstock and embellishments, paints, glues, etc.
These are my 2 glitter cabinets (now you know I have more lol) You can also see some of the embellishments that are hanging so I don't forget about them. I bought little cup hooks and screwed them in the wall and hung the embellies on them.
This is the right side of my desk -- It has all my tattered angels sprays and colored pencils on it.
This is the front of my desk with all my little things on top and pictures -- I am still cleaning up from Christmas lol :)
This is the left side of my desk with another divider that has all kind of embellies and the wooden tray in the back Bob made for all my Twinkling h2O's watercolor paints.
Another full ribbon rack -- this one has all my sheer ribbon. The cabinet on the left holds my embossing powders, Art Institute Beads, and Flower Soft. The cabinet on the right holds my flock and spangles, sequins and in the drawer are tags and other items.
Well that's it except for the closet and we're not going to go there lol ;)

Nature's Beauty Having Sweet Dreams -- In A Sweet Pea Dream -- Ribbons & Bows -- Challenge # 8
Hi everyone :) I hope you all had a great holiday season!! I look forward to a new year with lots of crafty things to make and techniques to learn --not to mention stamps and products to buy lol ;) This was another one of those stamps that I simply had to have. This image is Sweet Dreams and it was colored with watercolor pencils and then glittered with pearl glitters on her dress and her lips (done with a toothpick) her hair, wings and water droplets were done with transparent glitter from Art Institute to make them stand out. I also added glossy accents to the water droplets and the snails body. The mouse was flocked with light brown and white flock to make him look more realistic. I added the papers, nature's beauty accent and the blue gumdrops, as I call them along with the blue bow to finish it.(I love the color of this blue) Hope you like it and thanks for looking :)
