Emerald Eyes Katie --- In A Sweet Pea Dream --- Bling It Up --- Challenge # 17

Hello again,
For this week's challenge I decided to use the breathtaking image "Katie" from Elaine Cox. I just think she is gorgeous even before you do any coloring to her.  Now on to the details.
~ The Details~
I decided to do my image in greens with the background in purple to make it pop.  I stamped Katie in Staz-On -Forest Green ink.  I did my usual coloring with my shimmer chalks and watercolor pencils.  I used Art Institute Glitter in  #45 - Apple,  #95 - Summer Sea,  #161 - Palo Verde and Amy's Magic Glitter in #710 - Key Lime and Mica D'lites in Jade.  Then I added the pearlescent papers and set up my pattern and finished with all the rhinestone bling. Hope you like my sparkly Katie creation and thanks for taking the time to look ;)

My Decorative Pins ;)

Hi again,
I thought I would really quickly share my newest idea I had that I have been making... decorative pins.  I was just sitting at my craft table surrounded by all my wonderful stuff while I was waiting for some of my other creations to dry and I decided to make some of my own decorative pins.  I like how they came out and I will post more as I make them. Hope you like them and thanks for taking time to look at my creation. ;)

My mom loves turquoise so I decided to stamp her in Staz-on Azure ink and make her in hues of blue.  I did my usual coloring with my shimmer chalks and watercolor pencils.  The glitter used on her hair was Amy's Magic Glitter #632 - Marina, Art Institute Glitter in # 97 - Nirvana and #120 Blue Rain.  The seahorse was glittered with Art Institute Glitter in #235 - Mustard and # 90 - Melone.  Then I added little tiny bubbles and pearls to her.  The papers are from Creative Imaginations and the punches that I used are Bubbles and Deco Scallop from EK Success.  I finished it with the nail heads in sapphire and turquoise.  Mom thought she turned out great !!  Hope you like her and thanks for taking the time to look at my latest glittery creation ;)
