Hi again,
I hope everyone is having spring like weather finally. We had rain all day Monday ... perfect craft day so I started this card and finished her up last night. This time I chose an adorable Elaine Cox image --- "Little River Mermaid" it just seemed very spring like to me with her sitting on the nice green grass with her little froggy pal. Be sure to go over to Sweet Pea and check out Elaine's and the other artist's new releases here http://www.sweetpeastamps.com/ not to mention all the great stamps that are on sale right now. ;)
~ The Details ~
I did the usual of coloring the background with my pearlescent chalks and coloring the rest with watercolor pencils. Then I glittered the image with Art Institute glitter. Her hair was done in Rose Gold and Orange Crush. Her mermaid body was done in Cosmos and Mica Delights Glitter in Ruby. I used the larger Art Institute beads on her body in Deco Pink and Vermilion. The trees in the back were done in 2 different brown fun flocks. The grass and the bank were done in flower soft sprinkles. I also glossy accented the frog and the water -- I think you can see it on the close up pic. I punched out all the orange triangles that I made from my tattered angels sprays, then I added the blue paper I made the same way and finished with the flowers and tiny aqua pearls. She is on a die cut shell behind a paper doily and to finish it I added the "together" style stone and the butterfly. I hope you like it and thanks for taking the time to look at my glittery creation ;)

Kyla's B-day Card -- Hannah Lynn Digi -- Cali --
Hi again,
I just wanted to share the birthday card I made for my daughter Kyla, she turned 19 on Friday ... hard to believe ... where does the time go lol. This card was made using Hannah Lynn's Digi stamp -- CALI -- you can purchase it here http://www.etsy.com/shop/hannahlynnart?ref=seller_info or you can go to her website here http://hannahlynnart.com/ to find it along with lots of other wonderful items.
~Details ~
I didn't watercolor this one since it is a digi and you can't really print on watercolor paper, so I just colored her with colored pencils then glittered her and added the pearlescent papers. Then I added the doily heart, pearl strands, the glittery butterflies, the roses and the little wish sticker. I like how it came out and she did too. ;)
Thanks for taking the time to check out my glittery creation ;)

Pink Devotion --- In A Sweet Pea Dream --- Pink --- Challenge # 13
Hi again everyone,
Hope everyone is enjoying a little bit of spring weather, ours here in Florida has been beautiful :) For this challenge I chose another Ching Chou Kuik image ~ September Rhythm.
~ The Details ~
I did all my usual steps -- used pearlescent chalks for the background and then colored her with watercolor pencils then of course I glittered her lol ;) . Her hair has 2 colors of pink glitter and her mermaid body and tail have 3 glitters, they are all Art Institute glitter. The leaves and some of the flowers were also glittered. I added little rhinestones to some of the flowers and little rhinestone flowers to her also. I also tried a new technique with fantasy film, you can see the shiny leaves in her hair, they are calypso blue fantasy film that I formed and heated with my embossing gun, might try that on one of the mermaids tails next. You can really see it in the close up pic. I had an image of a triangle cut out for the main part of the card and it actually worked lol ;) The paper is from Creative Imaginations. I then finished it with the punch outs, ribbon, pink rhinestone swirls, sand dollar (sprayed with tattered angels spray) and devotion style stone.
Hope you like it and as always thanks for stopping by my blog to check out my glittery creation :)

Love Is Gone -- My Entry For The Sweet Pea Spring Stamp Off
Hi everyone,
I decided to do a card for Sweet Pea Stamp's Spring Stamp Off Challenge. They gave us a sketch to follow and we had to do our card like the sketch. The hard part was picking an image... but I decided to go with Ching Chou Kuik's ~ Love Is Gone another one of my favs.
~The Details~
I colored her with my watercolor pencils and then glittered her. Her hair was done with Art Institute Glitter in -- # 90 Melone and # 91 Orange Crush. The bodice top portion of her dress was done with Stampendous pearl glitter in dark green, the rest of her dress was done in the Art Institute Glitter in # 45 Apple, # 95 Summer Sea and # 272 Watercolor. Her flowers were done in #146 Bonnie Blue and Stampendous pearl glitter in light green and light purple. I also used Art Institute Glitter in #131 Black Hole on her wings and the accents on her dress. I used a hologram glitter in mint to outline the lines inside her wings and finished the wings with a hologram glitter in white. I added the black and green ribbons, pearl spray, roses and glitter paper punched butterflies along with the sentiment to finish everything.
I like how she turned out and I hope you do to and as always thanks for taking the time to look at my glittery creation ;)

An Anything But Ordinary Summer Day ;) --- In A Sweet Pea Dream -- Warmer Weather -- Challenge # 12
Hi everyone !! This challenge sure was appropriate it really warmed up here in Florida over the last week and a half. We have had temps in the 80's almost everyday :) I chose one of my newest stamps, another I just had to have ... there are so many of them lol ~ it is An Ordinary Summer Day by Ching Chou Kuik. I decided to use greens in this one. I colored her with my watercolor pencils and then glittered her with 5 different green shades of glitter from the Art Institute -- some transparent on her hair and body and some opaque. I did use white pearl glitter in her hair and that was the only pearl glitter this time, so there is alot of sparkle going on lol :) The background was done with my pearlescent chalks and the sand is actually flower soft. I added 2 real tiny starfish and a shell and some little beads and rox in the sand and plants. I used some new punches this time and added the lace and beading to pull it all together. The pretty seahorse background paper is from Creative Imaginations. I added some close-up pics so you can see all the details ;) I like how she turned out and hope you do as well ... As always thanks for taking the time to look at my creation ;)
